Easter holds the centre of the Christian faith: Jesus' death on the cross and his resurrection. These verses cover both, from “It is finished” in John 19 to Paul's summary of the gospel in 1 Corinthians 15. They are good to learn in the weeks before Easter and to keep all year.

Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
The apostles witnessed the reality of Jesus' bodily resurrection so that you may believe without having seen.

After his vicarious sacrifice Jesus rose again from death on the third day.
But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
Death came into the world through one man: Adam, and now victory over death came into the world through one man: Jesus Christ.
